Power of Nursing
August 9, 20202020 is the year of the nurse. The same year we have a global pandemic. It is a year that nursing has received recognition from the public for the work they tirelessly do. Seeing the trials and tribulations nurses began to experience at the beginning of the year spurned me on to create a series of paintings to recognize nurses. ICN has identified to date over 600 nurses worldwide have died as a result of Covid-19.
