A Red Bellied Woodpecker – Home?!
April 15, 2020This week I hear a noise at the corner of my house. It sounded like a woodpecker was knocking. I could never find it. This is a red bellied woodpecker looking for a home. There are a lot of dead trees in the tree farm next door where I see them frequently.
It turned out I have a couple of wrens who built a nest in the gutter. They made the knocking sound creating the perfect nest.
