Winter, the Dolphin

April 13, 2020 Off By Forrest

Winter is a dolphin that lost his tail from a crab track in 2005. He was rescued by Clearwater Aquarium. They created a prosthetic tail for him to swim correctly. He is still at Clearwater today. There is a cam (Winter Cam) that you can watch him swim. I imagine what it was like to see him swim in the ocean.

This painting is a mono-print collage. 100s of mono-prints are made then assembled to create the art. It is 4ft x 5ft gallery wrapped. It is rich in color and texture and will beautiful hanging in someone’s home. This piece will be on display for sale at The Village Artist when we are able to reopen.
