Call For Artisans at “Camden’s Art-Fest on Broad” October 9, 2021

Artist’s Attic on Broad Street is hosting the first annual Camden’s Art-Fest on Broad! Call for Artisan proposals are now being accepted! Send your in by 8/31 to get the early bird fees!

The Artist’s Attic at 930 Broad Street, Camden, SC is a well-known feature for the local arts community on the main thoroughfare in Camden.  Currently there are 18 professional artists that operate the exhibit space and studios.  Artist’s Attic is looking for artisans with hand-crafted items who wish to exhibit at “Camden Art-Fest on Broad”.  All booths are outside.  Art-Fest is scheduled Oct 9, 2021, 10 am – 4 pm.  Artisans can set up at assigned locations between 8-10 am and can break down after 4:00 pm. Artisans that break down before 4 pm will not be invited back.  Arthur Lane Alley next to Artist Attic will be closed to traffic on this date.  Tents are allowed with sandbags in the Alley and on Broad Street sidewalk.  Doorways, crosswalks, and sidewalks cannot be blocked.   Parking is at the Farmers market and local streets.  Unloading and reloading of cars is planned in front of Artist Attic on Broad Street and both ends of the Alley.  A booth and loading/unloading zones will be assigned to artisans.  Each artisan selected will receive a map of their location prior to the event.  Restrooms are available at Farmers Market.  Electricity is not an option. Tents, umbrellas, tables, chairs,,, are the responsibility of the artisan.  There will be a booth competition for the best-looking booth. Artist’s Attic is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage.  Please be respectful and remove all trash upon leaving.  The event will occur rain or shine unless bad weather occurs. 

Include with your application either a website link or photos for the event committee to review your art.  Along with the application is a $10 non-refundable fee and the event fee (see below).  The early due date is August 31, 2021.  After 8/31, the fee increases (see below) (in addition to the non-refundable fee noted above).  The postmarked date to accept any application is September 25thSubmit the application with appropriate fees by September 25 to be considered for the event.  If cancellation occurs before 9/25 or the event is canceled due to bad weather, a full refund of event fees (excluding $10 non-refundable fee) will occur.

Booth Sizes and Fees

10 x 10 = $30 before 8/31 ($20 +$10 non-refundable fee); $40 after 8/31 ($30 + $10 non-refundable fee)       

5 x 10 = $25 before 8/31 ($15 + $10 non-refundable fee); $35 after 8/31 ($25 + $10 non-refundable fee)
